Thought I'd introduce myself, since I've been lurking for awhile. I have been riding for the past 18 years. Having owned a bevy of Bonnevilles (T120r). Rode my Shovelhead for 13 years, switched to a Sprint St, back to a TC88, Now, I am the proud owner of a '97 S3. I am truly impressed with the older Buells, I demo'd a 2001 S3 and thought it was crud. The '97 on the other hand shifts unbelievably smooth. Handles fantastic. Accelerates and stops with authority. I'm sold. Wrap it up, it's coming home. I do most of my own wreching, and repairs. Anyways, HI |

Hooked?!? I'm looking for a way to score a 2nd S3 so I can start Modding the heck out of it. Seeing as no-one wants these poor, poor awful Buells. I'll start offering them homes. Already mentioned to the GF that we should move the rashberry plot so I can add another bay to the garage. Don't get me wrong, the S3 evokes feelings I haven't had since I owned the Shovel low those many tears ago. The TC88 was nice, no soul. The Sprint ST was fantastic, just don't get me started about FI and home maintenance. The S3...must go play now... |
