I just got off the phone with him about 1/2 hour ago.
To say he is pumped would be the understatement of the year!
It was like he was out of breath he was so excited.

I think this Dealer Show will mark a huge change for Buell.
I'll bet some of those "oh no, we can't sell Buell and are too stupid/arrogant to learn so we quit" dealers are going to be kicking themselves(or not depending on how dumb they really are and some of them are pretty dumb)in the butts!

I just hope they aren't allowed right back in, make em sweat a little first I say! Just to make those of us that stuck with Buell feel good.

So Erik,
Thank you for building great bikes we all love so much.
As Ferris says, keep up the good work!

Dave, that is so cool to hear. I was reading all the posts Friday anticipating the new bike and thinking, "Man, I'll bet the guys at Buell are really liking this." It's nice to know they are enjoying all this buzz.

I think it says a bunch about these motorcycles and this company that there are so many of us with no financial or personal interest in the company whatsoever, that REALLY care that it succeeds. By all indications they have exceeded all expectations this time.

Congratulations!

Wow, does that say it all or what!

Best compliment a manufacturer could get.

I'm still waiting for a single cylinder steel framed Supermoto...

It's cool they expanded their market some and listen to what Buellers want.

"It's cool they expanded their market some"

I have a feeling that may be quite the understatement : ). I think the "X" will set a new Buell sales record all by itself : ). That's a good thing.

I'm still holding my rant/apreciation for these bikes until I can see them in person and ride them.

At 6'3" tall, I am encouraged with the "long" model but until I sit on one, I cant know for sure.

nicely put. as long as i'm bellowing at the armchair yeagers to hold off with their totally academic negativity, so it follows that i gotta hand it to someone for holding off on praise, as well.
I am exceited and impressed by what i see so far, and again, erik, thanks for responding to my 2 years of incessant badgering for a dual-sport
and please- in lieu of royalties, just send me a Ulysses, if that's easier for ya.....

Nice thread.

Excellent job, Erik and team. Thanks Harley, for letting Erik design and steer Buell. The Ulysses is going to sell well and put Buell in the forefront. So will the big Lightning and the other improved features on the other bikes. I am so pleased to see Buell doing so well. Always a fan and a defender and now looking forward to Buell number 2. Hopefully before Laguna.

The U bike is so well designed it is satisfying to read about. Great job on the website, the microsite, and the nail biting market suspense. I don't know who could have done a better job.

Erik, you're not the only one who is thinking..."Now I gotta buy one of those". Me too.

Well, it'll also silence those "the XB's are too small to handle high horsepower" fools.
