would this help the oil circulate better keeping your engine cooler? just wondering what this does. can anyone help me out here?

Some of the tube frame bikes have occasionally shredded the oil pump drive gear with bad results. If you have a tube frame bike, you should drop the oil pump and check it if you haven't already (an easy job). The new gear should eliminate the problem once and for all.
