How many threads can a man walk down and read how disappointed some are with the new Buell line up?

I read between the lines and I can tell my friend Blake is cheesed off with the moaning.

I see Court wisely kept his head down on the BadWeB this past week and now with both barrels blazing he's sprung and already put his F650 out to graze in light of these new Buells.

Thank someone I'm more than 10000 miles west of the US so it'll be sometime before I get to see the new line up. This way I can keep my mouth shut for long enough not to get me in any trouble - I hope.

I've always liked the unusual style of the Multistrada though and I'd own one on looks alone. So what bikes could we expect to see the new Buells pitched against? The big BMW's aren't fair game really. Some KTM's perhaps? The BMW 650's maybe? The Multistrada for sure? These are the tests we need to see.

May just be me, but I'd say that the general consensus is overwhelmingly good!

Buell has done a spectacular job.

Seriously....I doubt the F650 will leave. It's a dandy bike and lowered for Vickie. And, as a 1999 with like 2,000 miles..why?

I'm thrilled with what Buell has done and suspect you'll soon know much more, in Europe where the bikes are targeted, than we will.

Frankly, the last week Court go a pay check reflecting 92 hours. I commute 3 hours a day (7 days a week for the last two)...you do the math.

It's not the math that counts Court but what you do it in or on

You must be cream crakered so my guess would be you're driving a nice 9-3 convertible right? What's in the CD player right now that keeps you awake?

It's not just looks, but the infor in the news releases that tell me that they have done a good job. Yes, I do need to ride it, though.

F-250: Frank Vignolia, Jimi Hendrix and Blind Faith with Sonny Rollins "The Bridge", close by. My Ulysses will have MP3 and GPS so the truck is no longer needed.

Well, the only moaning I seem to see is over the HP numbers. Other than that all else seems to be positive.

I think the bike has enough HP for its intended purpose.

I also think its going to be a great platform and bike for touring.

I can't wait until I see one - I only wish I had a bloody dealer on the island.

That would be the F250 HD is my guess? My friend just bought one of those from Bauer Millet. Tells me he can get his V-Rod in the tail bed, just, and there's a neat trunk between the 'rear' seats you can store a helmet in. The wheels have the bar and shield logo too!

Question is, when will the F250 Buell hit the market?

Nice tunes Court!!

You obviously missed the pics of the Buell Demo Fleet F-350's that have had the Ford oval, in the grill, replaced with Buells.

There were pictures here somewhere.

We're doing Bela Fleck (Live at the Quick) and CSN Lay me Down at the moment....

The adventure tourer route was a smart avenue with the current engines. You won't convert 95% of sport guys with a bike 30% down on power. However, this bike is an excellent alternative for the BMW and Suzuki adventure bikes. They are always curiously heavy, and Buell comes in on the light end of the scale, with enough horsepower for that type of bike and consumer.

Well done. Good thinking out of the box. Raise up the sport bike (with the tooling paid for), change suspension, clearance, seating, amenities, make various other improvements, find an entire new niche of riders to attract to the brand.

An adventure/tourer eh... I didn't see that one coming down the pike. That is, until the chatter started up on this board. Kind of surprising considering the S3's sold about as well as a 90 year-old hooker compared to its foreign counterparts.

That being said, I'm sure this new one will do much better. The build quality of the XBs are top notch, this one will be no exception.

I was really hoping for an updated Firebolt though. It would have been nice to see full bodywork with a 1350cc motor. The true cane-waving, Buell apologist, farts on this board will surely correct me on the S3 sales and rattle off a phonebook-sized list of outfits that will give me my 1350cc motor. I know that Buell has never really gone after the 20 something crowd. It just seems like an updated Firebolt could potentially fix that problem.

I do not think the new Buell F350 with take on the Dragon as well, but I like the Ulysses.

That is cool I have seen the Ford Oval replaced with an FMF sticker and never thought of using the Buell. Looks like I need to get some stickers for my '04 F-250.
