not as yet, bro -- we picked up the scoot, rode til way after dark, consumed flesh of our natural enemies (know how many folks are killed by cows every year? you can stop the madness, operator's are standing by), had a couple of frosty one's, and toppled like felled trees

the Bonnie is light, agile, predicable, and had the now-rare attribute of "standard" ergos . . .

plus, it's purty -- great garage/milkcrate appeal

here's a factory shot

Neat. There's a Trumpet dealer about 5 minutes from where I work.

Good choose sir Bomber: D

I'm guessing the youngster passed her road test with flying colors.

The missus has been getting some saddle time up here. She's doing better than I expected. Only one "parking lot" mishap on Sunday. No damage to bike or person (non-moving violation : D)

Bad -- sure did -- my experience matched your reports -- nice folks . . . .

Lake -- wasn't my choice, sir ;-} my better half chose, and, as I wrote, there were very few sleds in the standard category, in so far as ergos are concerned --

all three of us will be tearing up the roads in this neck of the woods (kidlet allows that she like speed {after her top speed run of about 40, but I remember the feeling well!) and turning best . . . . ..

>>>the Bonnie is light, agile, predicable,

Like we used to be!

Let me share this....take it with whatever personal level of terror you will....but do you think riding a Triumph puts your beloved offsrping at any heightened risk of growing up (or not) like RT?

I have to share these fears....but, on the upside that's one dandy looking bike!

: )

Thanks Budo == my head is awash with schemes -- I must remember that I've been told of dire events following any unauthorized wrenching, dire to the point of making Court's Patch Fines a laugh, and Thing's Tony Lama fine a mere bagatelle in comparison . . . . .

must resist the urge to fiddle!

I have to get older.

I don't have to grow up!

Court -- good point, but actually the Bonnie belongs to my wife -- ain't no chance she'll:
1, look like Thang, other than being taller than she is wide, more or less bilaterally symetrical, and smilin a lot, and,
2, grow up -- while the Rancho and the Entropy Lab are separated by many state lines, many more miles, several climates, and a number of area codes, I have a feeling that the general tenor of the respective joints is very similar

offspring on the Blast (BumbleBuell), and having a . . . . .

;-}

BTW Bomber forgot to mention that the dealer that sold the Bonnie to him also has a 1999 S3T all stock in Green for $5400 and a 2002 Cyclone for 4500 in the color black.

Bomber,
Outstanding choice for a bike. My better (far better) half will probably make an announcement soon as well.

Triumph is my second favorite motorcycle company. I'd love a Sprint ST, those really trip my trigger.
