I've been thinking about putting CityX bars on my 98 S1W. I have a few questions, hopefully someone can help me with.

How do the CityX bars compare to the stock S1W bars bends? More aggressive, more upright?

I am currently using Napoleon bar end mirrors (which I love), can I still use these mirrors while utilizing the CityX handgaurds?

Daves could you price the parts I need for this conversion? Bars, guards and any other components needed.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

The bars for a City X are 62.42 they should be pretty close to the same bend as S1 bars.
The rest of the stuff for the handguards is 53.60
Your bar ends won't work unless you modify the handguard somehow?

The bar ends should work fine, though you will proably need to make minor mods. For the 3rd eye bar ends, I had to drill holes in the bar end plugs ($2 parts or whatever) and add longer bolts to the mirrors ($2 at home depot).

From what I recall of the Napoleans I had on my M2, I think they would work fine. If you can't extend them with the longer bolt, you could modify the "clip" part of the guard to snap right onto the Napoleans and ditch the plugs all together.

Not a big deal either way.

Another nice perk of the bars, they hold your gloves up on the dash while you are putting on your helmet and warming up the bike. And they just look really cool.

That will be a huge benefit for my tuber. It loves to throw everything off of it when warming up. It bucks like a horse! I can't tell you how many times I have picked up gloves and glasses that get vibrated off.
