To quote Professor Hubert Farnsworth: "Good news everybody!"

On June 22nd, 2005, Liberty Buell officially chartered our BRAG Chapter, named Liberty Streetfighters. All are welcome to join, just PM me or send us a message from here:
http://www.libertyharley.com/buell/BRAG/index.htm

I'm still working out the details, but looks like annual dues for the local club will be $24.00, prorated if you join mid year. Also working on getting a new member package together with patches & t-shirt, that sort of thing.

Hope to hear for you guys & gals!

Chris

Have Fun! We are in our 2nd year. I did learn a few things - Far different from running a HOG Chapter, but I sure enjoy it a lot more too.

Let me know if there is any info I can help you with. Perhaps we could meet 1/2 between NY & NJ for a Fall ride.

PLEASE be very cool about your patches and t-shirts with that 'liberty streetfighters' name. you may wanna rethink it.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many violent morons in your area who have a mindless approach to new club names on shirts and patches, if you understand my meaning.

Hey Tramp,

I've thought about the name, and we'll be discrete about it on our patches. Just the small patch that goes below the BRAG patch.

I definitely know what you mean about the morons in our area. We'll probably not get custom shirts done, and keep it responsible if we do. Thanks for looking out for us!

The name kicks a*s, obviously
I deal with those morons far too often.
Good thing You're going about it responsibly.
shame we actually have to deal with that idiocy in this day and age.

Congrats guys, Welcome to the family of Jersey BRAG groups. We should plan a statewide BRAG ride.

Hey Jerseyguy!

Sounds cool! We've even thought about getting other BRAG chapters together for a possible track day once the new track in Millville opens.

We're getting a great response and I'm doing everything possible to get the chapter up and running as soon as possible. I'm handling this mostly on my own, so this could take some time. Hang in there true believers!

That would be cool, but South Jersey, as far as I know, doesn't have any BRAG chapters. sniff, sniff.

The only dealer down here is HD/Buell Of Ocean County, and they ain't too Buell friendly from what I've seen. They only have like 2 or 3 Buells on the floor, and don't stock any parts. And I had a hard time finding out from them if the recall was done on my y2k Blast in the service dept. No shirts or anything in motorclothes dept. So as I said, not very Buell friendly. Guess I gotta run upstate soon now. And see what A Buell friendly dealer is all about. Actually, 2 Buell friendly dealers.

yep- kosco kicks a*s, jason and his dad lou are good guys.
bergen is Ok, will rob's a good skate, but their service dep't. needs a aminor miracle, and the owner could use some lessons in treating bartenders and servers better when he's on his little employee runs.

Not sure about Kosco, thats where my Blast came from, I called them about the recalls 1st, and they couldn't tell me anything. There is a guy in the thumper forum, that is having a few probs. w/them now. The rest, I havent herd about yet.

Jerzeydevil- thanks for the info- i know that they've had their share of issues in the past (mostly HD stuff), but I hear an overall higher approval rating for them than anyone else up around here. They're technically my closest buell dealership (them and Bergen), and they really did nice work on some of my recalls.
The tech who did my work hasn't been there in a long time (we became good friends years later), but Rich, the pres. of the dealership, is pretty efficient, and Jason, their Buell sales mgr., might be the guy to speak to about recalls, before speaking to service.
