Road my xb from Az to Mn. so I can go on a ride with my son. Stopped at Twin City H-D today. Yes they were open. I wanted an oil change and tires if possible. Oil change I got. But tires forget it. To busy. Can't help go away. All they had were D207 any way. The service writer said he can get 6000 to 7000 miles on D207s and that all D207s are the same. No body carries parts for buells. But they are glad to look up accessories in the Harley catalog for buell parts. Makes me want to by a K1200R. I do not know if BMW dealers are any better but I bet you do not have to beg them to take your money. |

Money grubbing bastards, making their employees work the 4th of July!
I wonder where the owner spent his weekend?
Jeez,even the car dealer I used to work for didn't even make us work the 4th of July.
Next I suppose they will have to work Christmas Day too? |

i know it sucks but i think thats the idea behind the service industry. thats why i always steered clear of it. more power to anybody that can work all the holidays. i know i could never do it. |

I GUESS THEY SOLD A FEW BIKES. BUT TALK ABOUT HAVING THE B TEEM WORKING. WENT ACROSS THE STREET TODAY AND HAD SOME PILOT SPORTS PUT ON. BMW, SUZUKI, WHAT EVER DEALER. THEY WERE GLAD TO TAKE MY MONEY. |

When you work at a place like me that does worldwide business 24x7, holidays meant nothing. Unless there is some type of disaster that destroys the building, we are working. (if the building is destroyed, we are flown to Mahwah NJ and have 36 hrs to have all systems running at an IBM disater recovery facility) |

it's a real shame that anyone has to work on time that is valued by them as off time or holidays. i myself am on call 24/7. this is why the rest of the world hates us (the U.S.A.). it's really neat that you can get tennis balls or lobster or valve cover gaskets for your cummins at 1:00am. on the other side of the coin someone has too do it because us filthy decadent americans are more than happy to pay good $'s for what we want. by the way i rarely have to work doubles or triples or emergency work without prior notice. if i had my way i wouldn't do it at all. but' i need money for that lobster dinner i'm having after changing my valvecover gaskets and before my tennis match. |
