Are you pulling night shift or something? Late night poster....
I thought they only built those Ground Stations in the daytime!

Took your advice and went out to Oak Hill Sunday.

What a blast! I have a group of 4 ready to go on July 6-7.

I tried to get out to the track Sunday afternoon, but my chores (planting tomatoes and cucumbers, mowing the yard, ... other stupid stuff that I enjoy) kept me busy till after dark.

By "...ready to go on July 6-7" do you mean that y'all are planning on taking a racing school and hitting the track?! That would be too cool! We could start our own personal class within a class with no class at all.

Last time I was at the track I saw Orin there. He used to race. Maybe we could get him back out on a new Firebolt. Heheheheh, hey Orin, can I take your Firebolt for a test lap... hey Orin, ya got another set of tires for the Firebolt? These here are all worn out. :D

No late shift for me. Just waking up for snacktime and end up checking the board.

Well....to be honest....

After watching the 600s go screaming by for the 4th time...I was steadily starting to contemplate the purchase of a used Jap scooter. Just so I could rip it apart and set it up for track duty.

Then I saw 2 low sides, 1 high side, and 1 poor guy who ran off the track and flipped his bike. (If there were gravel run-offs....these guys would have walked away instead of going to Henderson.)

No...I have 4 people ready to go WATCH the races on the 6th-7th.

Four riders ended up going to the hospital? Yikes!

Still, you really ought to take the school on your Buell so you can do the track day thing... on your Buell. :D

I'm not too keen on actually racing yet myself. I need some serious track time. I'll then need to watch the classes for which I'll be eligible to see which if any are full of squids. I don't want to have to deal with some overcompetitive fool stuffing me into turn 1 racing for 25th place.

If I can run lap times low enough to keep from being lapped by the leading 600's and SV650's, I may give it a shot.

Orin has the Firebolt in. Got it today.

White. Sweet.

He has three allocated and all three are already sold.

This one may be up front by tommorrow afternoon.

We got to talking about Oak Hill...he said this bike "would be perfect" for that track.

Sounds like a plan...maybe.

Yes. An XB9R would do VERY well at OHR. You won't see mcuh if any over 100 mph at Oak Hill. It is a VERY technical course. Constant grade changes, tight turns, plus a mix of new, old, and really old asphalt. My kind of course. :)

Get on over to FW with X1G and take the class so we can do our own track days.
