Is there a trick to getting to the Damnned thing?!?! Short of pulling off the header??? It is on a 2002 S3T...It is in exactly the WORST place it could be...1/4 turn more to the rear and a piece of cake...but where it is?!?!?!?!!?

Any tips????

Ess,
A crowsfoot works wonders, it will let you get the 1/8 turn you need to loosen it, then it comes out pretty easy

crowsfoot

the size you need is 7/8"

I agree with the placement issue, it was a bear the 1st time I took it off.

Ess,

He is correct. The crowsfoot will make it easy. I used mine with two extensions coming towards the left side of the bike. Place the wrench on the sensor from below, open end up, it will save some time.

Just changed mine last week.

Iamike.....THANK YOU!!!!!

Boy I feel like an IDIOT...I was totally thinking that someone should invent a socket that had a groove cut into it or something...Guess they already did.

I couldn't get the crowsfeet to work...I WAS PISSED!!!...I thought I must be an idiot.

I REALLY didn't want to take the bike back to the dealer JUST to have to sensor changed (45 miles one way)....Thanks again everyone.}
