I just wanted to post a few pics from the ride we went on this weekend. Everyone met at HD/Buell of Danbury. We went on a 3 hr ride through CT and NY. We took Rt. 301 (great twisty road in NY) to Bear Mountain and back. A GREAT time was had by all. We will be going on more rides in the future so let me know if you are interested in joining us next time.

A possibility, I am in Brooklyn and new here, not real familiar with the layout, how long a ride to Danbury? And is there a better way than heading up 95 and going North at 7? I'd like to find some rides where I don't have to ride for 2 hours just to get to some decent riding... Of course, after a month of nothing but city riding, I am good and ready for some real riding, and if I have to ride 2 hours to get there, well.. SIGN ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ray |

Hell of a ride up there. Especially the hairpin going up or down the mountain 1st time on it damn near killed myself (many years ago very little seat time) Also Storm King mountain not to bad for twisties but its a short run maybe we should all get a group ride goin. Would be nice to get away from all the inlines for a while and ride with some like minded people. |

Looks like it was getting ready to rain in those pics. Was it or was that just caused by the early morning? |

Tramp your Alive - wonders never stop. For those of you in the Orange & Ulster County areas, we do rides all around. The Catskills, Eastern Dutchess to Conn. & Mass. We have a mix bag of riders from the Buells to a couple of Beemers to Sportys, but we ride without the Ride to Eat motto driving us. We are planning a ride for June 25 to head out to Sharon,Ct from Rhinebeck to the to the Woodstock H-D/Buell Dealership for their open house. You can check out the webpage for info http://mysite.verizon.net/res94lu0/hudsonvalleyridersclub/ or email me at HudsonValleyBRAG@aol.com Anyone is welcome to ride - we keep things very informal - but safe. |

I have an email list that I use to give everyone the heads up about our Buell group rides. If anyone else would like to be added to the list just send me an email… Jeff@hdofdanbury.com Gomo – Maybe we could all meet up sometime soon. I can bring some of the guys up from my area to join your group on a run through your part of NY. (Message edited by niceharleystuff on June 20, 2005) |
