She's a 7 month old Beagle. My wife found her in the paper, a lady got her from the Humaine Society and she realized that she couldn't take care of her well enough. So we got her.

Her name is Bell and she is very well manered, dosn't bark much and is very sweet. We are still trying to get aquainted, but it's going well. The cats aren't too happy about it, but they will get over it. : )

What a little cutie! She's adorable. I'm sure she & the cats will come to an understanding given enough time.
Congrats!

Someone needs to carefully tell Goliath that his tongue is hanging out and it's not appropriate.

tongue in month = not tired from playing tennis ball or swimming : )

and miss AB loves tennis balls so much that we play all the time, so her tongue is wagging in most pics!

however, it is possible - here's proof!

99buellx1 - That's a nice looking dog. Sure wish I had gone with smaller ones.

Mine
Nika - got her from a local animal shelter about 3 years ago. I think she was abused... she acts
skiddish at times.

Cocoa - got her from the previous owner of my house. He was going to Iraq and his wife wouldn't
take care of her. She has made a good playmate for Nika. Very proctective of the kids as well.

Too cool !

One of the "fun" parts of my "real job" is that I get to "hire" dogs for a special assignment.

I got to the point where I always kept a tennis call in my suit pocket and told one of the agents..."eiterh we do it my way or you'll be sliding through that wet grass".

Smart dogs!....all Labs except one Golden.

Since we are posting. My two labs. Great dogs, and they love to sneak in the house to hunt cats!! They finally got one cornered, and the cat peed everywhere. I guess my "Kitty Kitty" remarks made them even more curious!!

Dogs are so cool!! Doesn't matter how your day has gone, when you come home to them, you can't be mad. Unless they got into your shed and chewed up everything that they could get into their mouth, and you have to spend 3 hours cleaning up all the trays full of screws you had sitting on the bench that now happen to be all over the floor. Oh, sorry, flashbacks.

Honeybear
This is Honeybear, AKA Stinky Bear, Little Boo, Boogaboo, etc. She was one year old as of April 11th of this year. She's at least three generations of mutt and an absolute riot. She's mostly well behaved, but has quite the "independent" streak and occasionally decides she's the boss.

Dillon1
Dillon2
This is Dillon, but he doesn't know that. I picked him up at a gas station in Dillon, SC. It was some ~40 degrees and raining out, he was wandering between the cars. The attendants at the gas station said someone just dropped him off and he had been hanging around there for 3 days. I thought it would be cool to name him after the town where I found him, but my wife didn't really like the name Dillon. We never settled on a name for him, so he goes by Little Man, Buddy, Lunch Box, and occasionally Farkas. It doesn't seem to matter what you call him as he doesn't really listen and he mostly follows you around the house anyway.

together
This picture is sorta special, as Honeybear is taking a break from her normally scheduled activity of attacking Dillon. It's pretty funny to see them together as they're total opposites. Honeybear operates at 110% all the time, Dillon just follows you around and lays down as much as possible. Even as I type this Dillon is just laying on the floor under my chair while Honeybear is running around the back yard barking at who knows what.
