Prez, easy install. Be sure to use a ball-end allen key so you can get to that hard to get to bolt on the elbow.

The only thing I don't like about the XR2 is that it routs crankcase gasses back into the intake stream (like the stock airbox). Using a proper catch-can is a better set-up, albeit not an EPA complying one.

I have a X1 with a XR2 and a catch can. I initially installed the XR2 as per instructions. The blowby material would collect in the filter to the extent that it dripped onto the header. I did not want to put up with the resulting smell and smoke screen so I popped the fitting out of the filter and connected it to a line which goes over the engine to a American Sport Bike catch can attached to the where the horn was originally. Some people have questioned if the tubing travelling up from the breathers would be a peoblem but I have had this set up for ~3 years and it works fine .

Thanks for the comments guys. I moved the horn to the area just left of the catch can (hard to see in photo). Prez, if it's ~$125 it is the correct item (#5264). A bit pricey but a nice piece.
I put it on in lieu of just running a tube down low as I wanted to keep the bike cleaner and didn't want to get the oil on my rear tire. I empty it at each oil change.

ok..got it on...had a little trouble..had to call tech support at force...the guy i talked to was pretty helpful..even though he talked faster than an estate auctioneer, and kept interupting me mid sentence.lol...the instructions coulda been a little more informative..it says at the end of the instructions that i should go have it dyno tuned because it my cause my bike to run lean.. i have the race ecm...doesnt it automatically correct these things?? if anyone wants to give me a run down on the race ecm that would be awesome...like i said b4 i'm new to all of this...
as soon as i get a new camera i'll take some pics..it looks great..and overall it wasnt too challenging...now just a little trany and cosmetic stuff and i'm back on the road...thanx agian for everyones help...prez

Race ECM will compensate for the increased air flow> You are good to go!
