Well, from the way the darn weather looks I won't be getting much riding in right now due to it being really crappy. So, I was wondering. My bike has right around 9700 miles on it. Would it be to soon to just do my 10K now? I can't do the forks until I get my spring compression tool which I'll be ordering today but I can do everything else.

Sure, a few hundred miles either way makes no difference. You might want to purchase a shop manual, and do all or some of the required maintenance yourself. Some items are really not to hard to do. And you know you did them right.

Have the service manual. Plan on doing all of the work. Just ordered the spring compression tool for the forks and have come up with a fork holder tool equivalent. I'll take pics of my work and post up about it for those who may be interested.
