If you are going to be touring the Buell factory during the HOMECOMING 2005 festivities, please bring a bag of M&M's. I'd like to encourage everyone to seek out (just ask Donna at the front desk or anyone you see) Tommy Anglim and just say "Thank You". TA just returned from a tour of Iraq. He is among those who "had" to go, not for legal enlistment obligations, but because of strong moral convictions. I shall be there....with Regular. Don't say rain. . . one of the hardest was several years ago, returning from RA. I was with Keith Ulikci and a handful of RR/RS folks and Harry Wirth. We'd hung out at the old Buell factory quonset hut on Jefferson the day before and decided to ride back together. Finally, in disgust, we stopped to eat and by golly so did the rain. The moment we returned to the bike, back came the showers. Seems tough to fathom that this is entirely due to chance. I blame Erik for the names he gives the bikes. Court | ||

Rippin,are you staying in Elkhart for the full event.I think that there is a very good last min. chance that I can make it to the 2005 event.Could you send some info on the nights available and cost.Thanks Shawn | ||

Shawn, Yes we're staying from Fri- Sunday. We should get there(Osthoff Resort) between 6-7PM Friday. I have a 3-bedroom/2bath w/Washer&dryer suite and a 2-bedroom/2bath suite lakeside. All five bedrooms are pd and spoken but I have 2 pullout couches(small Queen) and 4 huge chairs that make a singlebed with the ottman. Each suite has full kitchen, dining room, living room and fireplaces. If you like going to Seibkens square or any other bars at nite in Elkhart you can just park in the North side lot at Osthoff and walk across the street. No need to worry about the law(dui's) that way. Right now I'm asking $30 per nite but everyone else has pd $85.00 for both nites. I had 3 in our group who now can't make it and never pd so I'd rather not ask everyone who has(pd) for more money. Don't seem right. But I know a couple who wanted to be "to them selves" got one room I think in Sheboygen or somewhere for one nite he's complaining it was $120 for one nite. This is a very nice place.
