Hey, we're off to the races! A good rain has fallen and the track will have a day to dry. Should be a fantastic weekend of dirt trackin'

See ya' in the grandstands! I'll be sportin' some kind of Buell advertising. 'Prolly' near the M section up near the middle.

Can barely wait to hear the 'freight-train' rollin down the back stretch headin' for turn 3 and see line form for turn 4 to catch a draft onto the front stretch!!!

WOOHOOHOO!

Thrillin, ain't it! Nothin like the sound of 20 or so V-twins going down the back stretch!

Please, please, please bring back some pics! I grew up around the flat tracks in North and South Carolina! My brother raced Pentons, Bultacos and even an odd Hodaka. I was only about 6 when he started but I rmember what fun it all was.

Vegas, sorry about the pics, didn't take the camera...Rick King won with an inside pass from 3rd place coming off turn 4 to the checkered flag. Easy bike length ahead!

Spotted a beautiful XB12R at the track. Nice shade of light green, looked to be about 10 coats deep. Polished frame and swing arm. Chrome rims with jeweling inside the spoke arms on the rear wheel. Airbrushed Buell insignia. Maximum attention to detail everywhere. In a sea of Harley's that Buell was a beacon!!
