Said they'd be out the week of the 16th. Hell, I live in Wisconsin and not even an hour from the BRAG office and I haven't received diddly-squat.
Anyone get theirs yet?

Rocco, You would have gotten one today. But I'm guessing after your little "peering" episode at the factory, they sent one of the elves to come and intercept your mail and confiscate your packet!

I got something in the mail that was pretty much a schedule. I'll post it here today.

By the way, I also got one that was supposed to go to Ohio....whihc I put right back in the mail. Appears the envelopes kinda stuck together.

Not sure entirely, whey they put 4 sheets of paper in a big flat envelope but....

BRAG sure is funny. I got the Homecoming schedule that Court is referring to, but still haven't received the latest issue of Fuell. My membership runs out in 07/05, but the latest issue of Fuell is May/June. BTW, it's not just me - all the other Bueller's in Eastern NC that I have spoke to haven't gotten their latest issue of Fuell...

Sorry to diverge off topic,

Brankin - I haven't got mine either. It's always late. The mail must run slow here in NC.

Yes, but I'm only going to the races. How in the Hell am I going to pick up my tickets when they'll be inside the track already!? Think I'll give them a call today.

Just got off the phone with BRAG and they were no help. Was told they would be available for pick up. I said I'm not going to anything but the races, so now I have to drive up to West Bend Buell to pick my stuff up and then drive home then drive back up to the races the next day? Sounds kind of dumb. Then he said I see a note here that says they'll mail the Tee-shirts, tickets and adventure guide out the week of the 16th. I said great, but we are in the week of the 23rd. A little silence. I asked have they been mailed or are they still in the process. He said they're still in the process, but I should get it tomorrow.
I pointed out that if they haven't been mailed, there's no way in hell I'll get it tomorrow, and I'm a little concerned due to the fact this is a Holiday weekend which will push the mail back another day. Makes me wonder why so few people went last year. What a frickin' headache. Nothing like waiting till the last second. Me? I don't care one way or the other. But our 9 year old son? It would kill him to miss it. He LIVES for motorcycles.

Rocco,

I could zip over to the host hotel on Thursday evening or Friday afternoon and pick up your stuff if they'll allow that. We live in Port Washington so you could swing by on your way up to the races and pick up your stuff if that would help you out any.

I'm not registered and was just planning on hitting the B'Trax for Friday for awhile. Might go to the flat track races in Plymouth Friday night but otherwise should be around.

Let me know if this will help you out any.
Mike.

We'll having said they're being mailed out, and a letter here stating the same, I'll give them until Thursday to get it to me. At that point I'm going to ask to speak to someone that KNOWS what's going on (may be difficult to locate) and ask IF it is/was mailed OR do I need to pick it up. Heck, if I knew that, I'd of went for the whole thing. I appreciate your offers and if need be, will be getting a hold of one of you to take you up on it.

We could probably work out a Pony Express handoff on this, he won't even have to slow down much. Picture me hanging off an overpass on I-43 timing the package drop, him driving north and hanging out his window with a big ol' fishing net to catch said package.

Mike, what the Hell are you talkin' about? Don't you have to pick your stuff up? For the people that only got the race deal. I called BRAG again today. Said they're UPS'ing the Tee-shirts, Adventure guide & Race Tickets because they didn't get the Tickets until this week. Was told if ya don't get them by Wednesday (June 1st) call them. Nothing like waiting till the last second. Again, I wonder why people don't do Homecoming.

checked with the local harley davidson buell dealer in the town we are staying.....asking if they rent buells, etc.

they do not rent buells...
they have no buell in their shop...
asked about them working out a deal with other dealers to bring in some buells for the event to rent or show...they said no....?

Interesting.....rex

Rex,
Check with Hal's as in prior events they "rented" out their used bikes to a few folks. Not sure if that option is still available though.
I've mentioned the Buell status of WB in the past, and this event may indeed be very interesting. They must have sold the last two Buells they had in their shop a few months ago, or else you spoke with the same person there that I keep running into.

Rocco,
If I'm the Mike you're speaking to I was just having a little fun while also offering to help you out if I can if needed. I'm not signed up for anything, can't hit the races for both days, so will probably just be around for part of Friday afternoon is all.

Going to be real interesting to see how people fare when some of them are already in transit to get here if their stuff was mailed out to their home address. Hope it all works out for the best for them in the end.

Not you Mikej, but Coolice (Mike). I appreciate your offer, and agree with you on the way this was handled as far as the sending of the stuff. This will most likely be my last Homecoming unless they can figure a better way to do it. I have absolutely NO faith that my stuff will even make it to me!

MikeJ, I doubt Hals has many used Buells currently. I think all they currently have is a couple of blasts, and a '01 X1 IIRC. They even sold their "demo" XB12R that Bilanski was going to ride around Blackhawk. So he was stuck riding a 12S.

Good advice Bomber, why get so worked up and be miserable so far in advance !!

The right attitude can make any experience a good one, or at least fairly decent !! : )

Manage expectations !!

I haven't been to Hal's in awhile now. Are they selling off all their trade-ins, or not taking many in?

There is no help to accept. Nothing has been sent out yet. If you're going only to the races, they mail everything to you. You only pick it up if you're doing the whole Event. So far in advance? I don't know what you consider far in advance, but
the races are NEXT WEEKEND. Sorry, but I plan ahead. I'm supposed to call next Wednesday if I don't receive them by then?! Hell they've had how long now and they think if I don't have them by next Wednesday they'll get them to me by that Friday? Again, sorry, but when I spend money on something, I expect answers, not side track B.S, which is all I'm getting out of them. Doesn't turn me off to Buell, just BRAG. Maybe that's why they are looking for new help.

Im avoiding all of it just planning on working on the house & yard..maybe cut a tree down. Then I will hit some of the fantastic roads in my area followed by a nice dinner somewhere.

Total cost? A whole lot less than $100 a person & I guarantee I will have a great time.

Everyone who is attending or planning on it, I hope you enjoy yourselves & get your moneys worth.
