Man, did we see some unusual stuff today on our ride through East Troy. Next time the people at the Factory and R&D Department may want to shut the blinds all the way. Saw some VERY interesting things, that we as a group decided not to let out of the bag. Sorry, but, it was VERY interesting. |

Sure, now I have to grab a flashlight, ride the street rod down to East Troy, miss all the deer, get arrested for trespassing. Thanks a lot Rocketsprink. |

Hey, it took a lot NOT to hold the camera up to the window and snap a few. But common sense got the better of us. That and we don't want the "elves" slitting our throats in our sleep. This thread isn't useless. It just keeps hope alive. The funniest part was one of the employees walking past us to the side door looking at us like we were all nuts. Hell, for all we know, it was set up for just that reason. But I wouldn't bet on it. |

If they manufacture what we saw I Know it'll be in my garage as soon as it hits the dealers. Nows where I super glue my mouth shut and disconect my computer to avoid getting in trouble. besides you'll all know what we saw in a few months anyway. you might even see it at the home coming. Now I wish I would have signed up. |

>>> This thread isn't useless. It just keeps hope alive. Hope for what? We all know things will evolve and change. So what was it that you were hoping for before visiting the factory? (don't make me search the archives) |

Lets be honest here. The R&D shop has a lot of test mules that will never see production. They have had a turbo S1 and it is pretty well known they have stuffed a v-rod motor onto an XB chassis as well. But that doesn't mean we will ever be ablt to go to the dealer and buy either one. |

More to the point what were you hoping for by looking in the windows that the rest of us shouldn't know? By simple turn of fate and geography we aren't lucky enough to live as close to the plant, so we don't deserve to know. Of course we can't expect you to expose company secrets, especially ones so jealously guarded (behind open blinds). Everyone else should mind their own business. Again why were you looking in the windows? (Message edited by diablobrian on May 23, 2005) |

Reminds me of Christmas....1958. I knew I was getting something. I knew what I'd been asking for. Never doubted the folks were gonna do their best to make me happy as could be. About half the fun was the eager anticipation. I get as big a kick, when new stuff is unveiled, by looking at it and asking myself TWO things:
- Who, among The Elves, is showing themselves in the design. A bike often reflects the personality of some of those involved in developing it.
- Which one of my Buells would I be willing to sell to have the new one. Always a good question.
Yeah...I am excited. |

Just uncovered, a building permit request has been submitted to the East Troy planning department today for a new fence at Buell headquarters:

You guys should write down what you saw on a piece of paper and seal it up in an envelope. On the day the 2006 models are unveiled, scan it and post it to BadWeb so we can see if you were "on the money" or not. How about it? |
