Author Message   Njengineer Posted on Sunday, May 22, 2005 - 07:17 pm:        On last Wednesday's CSI-NY a black XB12R had a cameo appearance. The lab folks were testing the tire burnout patterns of several bikes. They briefly flashed over a lineup of sport bikes and I instantly noticed the Buell. The detective makes a joke about wanting to ride off on the Harley instead of testing. They show him doing several pivoting burnouts on about three different Jap bikes (not the Buell however). BUT they do a shot of the RPM gauge cluster and it's familiar 7k redline of the Buell. A careful slo-mo with my Tivo shows the XB12R logo in the gauge cluster. Too bad they didn't use the Buell and the sound effects of the Buell during the burnouts.
