I know this subject has been covered before, but I am wanting to know where is the place to look for some mirrors for my X1, preferably not bar ends. Does anyone recall where it is located here on BADWEB. | ||

I didn't see anything in the knowledge vault at a quick glance. You can try doing a search and see what comes up. Anyway, I would recommend the buell "logo" mirrors. They are still offered as an accessory by the factory for all tube frame models. They are the only useful ones that I have found, but won't score you any style points. If you wear a jacket when you ride, you might have a tough time seeing out of some of the after market ones that are out there. The shoulders tend to obstruct them quite a bit. I have a set of shorter mirrors that are mounted on the factory hardware. The mirrors are oval shaped jobbies with a polished backside. They look like the dinky ones on an old triumph or something. I can snap a pic of them for you if you want. I'll clean them up and send them out to you for nothing if you feel like paying the postage. | ||

lot's of bar end stuff in the ergos KV -- CRGs are pricey, but very high quality -- many use bicycle bar ends as well -- | ||
