Claudia, she'll be fixed up soon! Killing me in the meantime. I didnt realize the MotoMarket night you mentioned was an 'American Thunderbike' night! I'd def. like to make it some time. Is there a link you could send me? I've only received pics from Bruce so far, thanks again Bruce! It was wild to jam around on Monday on the XB, it seems the usual repli-racer squids have tripled around here, they don't know what the hell i'm riding! Love it! Gotta spread the good word this summer. |

Hmmmm, seems like my provider is really playing bad tricks with me. Haven't received any emails from Bruce or Eric, and they aren't in the junk folder either Bruce, you got mail... Clinton, information about MotoMarket can usually be found here, but their site has been down all day today? Buell night is the fourth Thursday of the month. They also organize rides on Sundays. |

"Egads...who do you need to know to get one of those "OWN THE CORNERS" shirts? " ... I was at a bar/club a few months back in Green Bay.... this younger chick came up to me and goes "So, you own the corners, huh?", I (playing along) go "Alright", she says, "Well, I work the corners, so, does that mean that I owe you money" ..... - No Comment - |

Back in RI: Ewww! Odometer: And the ugly green stripe is still there... On my way home, I rode about 1300 miles through ten states. A lot of it was through flat land with straight roads... but getting off the interstate in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Connecticut offered me some nice curvy backroads. It keeps amazing me how vast this country is! The tankbag made the trip pretty comfortable because I could lean against it and take the weight off my legs and back while not putting it onto my wrists. Even after doing 390 miles on Tuesday I still felt better than after riding to the factory and back the Friday before. I had two scary moments when within an hour I first had one of those flying ants and then a wasp being sucked into my full-faced helmet with the visor closed. Thank God, the force of the air stream smacked them into the visor and they were half-dead before I cracked it open to have them sucked out again, and I didn't get stung. The day I got home it was about 85 degrees and sunny here, now it is about 57, raining, and very windy. We were really lucky with the weather! |

Dave: Let me tell you what I can do. For $500 I'll throw in this seat. Disgruntled Customer: The seat isn't even included? I have to pay extra for the seat??? Dave: It's a $650 seat.

Dave, got the package with my stuff today - thank you so much! I also called the local dealer today to make an appointment for the (late) 1000-mile checkup for the XB9RRL and for the (late) 7500-mile checkup for the Blast, but they told me they're booked for the next six weeks! Looks like I'll be taking a day off and head up to Sheldon's in Auburn, MA for their "In by 10, out by 5" service sometime soon. |
