Awesome roads or not, I don't think I could stomach having my taxes spent THIS way.

Proudly displaying a copy of the state's check for $250,000, Mitulski said it's perfectly appropriate for taxpayer money to fund what he said would be the nation's first subsidized housing project for gay and lesbian seniors.

RacerX,

Do your heterosexual grandparents get it on in front of the family? Let's keep it real please. I'm not pro-homo by ANY means. I am tolerant however. If they leave me alone and stay out of my face, I'll do the same for them.

She had grandpa's tongue in her mouth?!

Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm terrible, I know. Please forgive me.

I walked in on my freshman college roomate once, but he was alone.

Those of you who have never been aboard a ship (especially one without women) have no idea what it's like to "interupt" someone. I'm actually glad there are women aboard navy ships now...it makes the men more "polite" about such things

"Dude, were you just wackin` off?" "Nooo..." (Zip!) "Good, I wasn't sure... thanks for clearing that up. By the way, lock the door next time, eh?" "Sure thing."

Actual conversation with my sophmore roommate in college. Great guy, just had a habit of leaving the door unlocked at all the wrong times. We were always cool about it, though. (Moral? Relevance?) Tolerance and acceptance are wonderful things. The rest of the world would be good to follow suit. IMHO

That thing about the heart transplant, thats just stupid. Explain to me why we are treating hardened criminals with compassion? Prisons were once designed to be a place feared, as you may very well die there. They were not comfortable, hospitable, or remotely enjoyable. Thats not the case today. Might as well call them Club Fed, thats what they are: a subsidised vacation.

And yes, I've spent time in the pokey. (County, nothing more) Our incarceration system is a joke. Again, my opinion...

Believe me it isn't just Califonia prison's that have this problem, after all they are FEDERAL prison's. I'll agree with Ebear about the population explosion. I'm a 2nd generation Cali native and have watched people move here and then try to make it like the shiess hole they left, whether it be across the world, down south, or from the other coast. If you don't like the way we do it here then get the hell out, but don't come here and then try to change us to be like the crappy place you just left. It's funny how the Nor Cal people like to say there is a battle with So Cal since they are the only ones waging it. Maybe they're jealous that we don't pay attention to them since we have plenty of constructive or fun things to do with our time other than worry about what our neighbors are doing. It seems to me that most of the liberal, bleeding heart, non arm pit shaving, Birkenstock wearing, vovlo driving, tree hugging, left over hippies are from Santa Cruz north and to us So Cal stops about Santa Barbara anyway. I love to visit that part of our great state but talk about finding a bunch of misplaced people. (some of the best Buell roads are there though)
Do I agree with all the politics and liberal bull? NO. Would I continue to let refugees get prime land and then finance their new lives in an already overcrowded area? NO (In fact I say move 'em all to areas of the midwest or North Dakota or somewhere that doesn't have any population and see how they fair then.) And by the way - when you move to a country, any country, SPEAK THE LANGUAGE!
But I still say there is no where I would rather live, especially when all the complainers get the hell out. I think it's time we take it back! So complain all you want and say what you will, just do it from somewhere else.

Dude,
Sounds like you need to take a ride.

"So complain all you want and say what you will, just do it from somewhere else." Yeah, damn that pesky 1st amendment.

I lived in so CA and you couldnt pay me enough to move back! I'd MUCH rather live in the hill country of south Texas, if I wasn't in MO. CA has WAY to many Demarats in charge.
