Good to hear Dave, thanks for the update.

I wonder if she's jammin' I90 the whole way. I ran 86E once into NY but wouldn't recommend on a bike, crazy broken pavement everywhere.

Dave, thanks again for setting up such a great weekend! I rolled into Maryville around 9:30pm last night. The bike (and the cheese curds) made the trip without incident. Thanks for your help loading the bike up. Tell Terry thanks too.

Dennis, Joe and Mark, thanks for leading us on a great ride Saturday.

I'll try to post pictures later today (if I screw it up I'll e-mail them to Computer Todd to post).

Thanks again for an unforgettable experience!

Wisconsin is always being razzed for their cheese, but all you first timers to cheese curds grimace at the name, and then grin when first tasting them. I am going to miss good cheese when i move to AZ.

Glad to hear everyone had a good time at the event. wish i could be a part of it. from all the input on the board, Dave, I will be coming to you for my new Buell. hopefully in the next couple months... just too bad i could not get in on a promo like this one.

Dave,
Thanks for a good time this weekend! Wish I could have hung around for a bit longer, but I had to come home and make sure the puppy was ok.

It ended up being a 1200 mile 4 day weekend for me, getting back to work today was a bit difficult.

I'd have to say my highlight lunch on Friday was Erik asking if my John Deere plant would be coming out with tracked skidsteers in the upcoming year or so. My response: " I know what WE'RE coming out with, what are YOU coming out with in the next year". That got a laugh out of everyone.

Thanks for a great buying experience and a great weekend for all involved. WHEN Buell comes out with another new model, you'll have to set up the same thing and I'll make another trip north.
Alex

Court,
Erik didn't answer either...

I should have invited him down for a tour of my factory. Oh well.

Sigh, I use to live in Wisconsin up to about 4 years old. These pics make me wish I still did live there. We lived in Watertown... Nice hilly area... Now, I live in what could be called the flat land.

Note to self: How NOT to end your perfect weekend with your new Buell AND learn a really hard lesson at the same time...

The damn beast shook itself off the sidestand after a perfect ride this afternoon! I keep the bike in a storage unit where i have to get off and type in a code to open the gate. I left it running while i punched in the code, got through two numbers and CRUNCH. Son-of-a...

Minor damage but I'm so sad this perfect long weekend ended this way. Sigh. Here's the damage list: scratched fork lower, scratched oil cooler shroud, scratched air intake shroud, scratched frame (not dented! woohoo), bent handlebars, broken clutch lever, broken turn signal, broken footpeg, bent shift lever and last but not least, the primary cover is scratched from the shift lever slamming into it. Gulp. I'm hoping the rearset isn't bent but i'll have to assess when its light out.

Dave, I have a list for you in the 'I need it now' thread ; )

That sucks!
I'll get on the list first thing in the morning.

Claudia checked in about 6:30 tonight, she is in Ohio. She said she rode about 350 miles today.

Kandie and Bobbie made it back to Iowa about 3:30 this afternoon.

Sorry to hear about your mishap. Mom and I made it back to Iowa about 3pm. Had a good time. I got a good sunburn and a parking ticket! Thanks for letting me tag along Dave.
Alex, will you take me snowmobiling sometime?
Claudia, I hope to see you again.

Thanks Dave, for the parts and the Claudia update. Man, she's must be having a great time, weather is perfect. Thanks for the condolences, Kandie. Sucks : ( but she'll be good as (almost) new with a little TLC.

I think that shirt is at least 3 yrs old, I found it in Dave's closet. It has a "Slay the Dragon" thing on the back.

Just a quick note - I had a great time this past week - an adventure I'll never forget. I made a lot of friends and hope to see you all again not too far in the future. Maybe you'll make it out east some time soon?

The ride back home was long, but well worth it. Clinton, I took I-80 through OH and PA, then rode up north and through some CT backroads. I have 1808 miles on the bike now.

BTW, Noto's HD & Buell in Plains, PA did an oil change and adjusted the primary chain for me yesterday afternoon as I rolled into their parking lot. No appointment necessary - two thumbs up and a big thank you to Melissa, Rick and their staff!

I'll post some more and some pics sometime this weekend. In the meantime, I'm sending a big hug to my new adoptive mom and big sister

A big Thank You to everyone who made this event possible, organized it and contributed to it in some way!

Claudia, happy to hear youre home safe! Sounds like the ride was a blast. So jealous : (

Not sure if you're part of any local BRAG chapters yet but check out the Northeast chapter in the Storm Fronts thread... one of these weekends there is a big ride out to beautiful Rt 2! Roads are gorgeous out there. Some sweet twisties.

I look forward to hooking up this summer for some rides! Enjoy that 9RRL in the meantime. Your girlfriend with the Aprilia is gonna be jealous. ; )

Clinton, we definitely should go riding this summer - hope you get your bike fixed up quickly! I always thought only the Blast could vibrate off the kickstand - very sorry to hear it happened to you!
Maybe we can meet at the American Thunderbike night at MotoMarket in Acton one of these days?

BTW, did Eric send an email with the pictures yet? (With my provider I can never be sure if I actually receive email that was sent to me....)
