I had Erik autograph your service manual today. I'll be sending it with your limited edition t-shirt next week. Sorry you had to miss the finale of the Buy,Fly and Ride promotion. We rode to East Troy this morning, the weather was cool to start, about 35 but it ended up being a great day! Got up to about 65 with lots of sunshine. Went thru the factory with Erik,Kim and Henry and then we all went out for lunch together. Erik autographed everyone's manuals and some bikes and t-shirts. In all we rode 274 miles. Kandie,Bobbie and I just got back to my apartment after taking everyone out for dinner. Tomorrow I have to work a bike show so Lake Bueller and Pale Rider are going to lead a ride for the BF+R Buellers. I know they have a plan and the BF+R Buellers will be in good hands. Dave and everyone, this has been the best motorcycle purchase experience I've ever had hands down, what a great way to get introduced into the Buell family! Dave has been nothing short of amazing since I began this process way back in November. My hats off to ya Dave! Can't thank you enough. By the way, I snagged the filter this AM and paid for the full order with Kim and Todd. It was great to meet everyone who was part of this promo, yesterday's ride to the factory was excellent. The roads were great, views even better and weather was just perfect! Sorry I had to cut out of today's ride, the weather looks like it will be even better today and tomorrow. Friday night we all went out to eat together at Applebee's, great food,great company,funny "I'm not gay" stories.Dale, do you want to go camping with me? Great time! Bruce,Clinton and Claudia got to taste genuine cheese curds for the first time. Alex had to leave from East Troy to go home and ride his snowmobile so he missed the dinner. Saturday, Lake Bueller and Pale rider took everyone on a ride thru the reservation and then gave them a tour of the stadium in Green Bay. They stopped by the bike expo to say hi. Dyna even made it for a while. Koz5150 was there showing off his bling,bling,pimpdaddy Buell. Clinton took off yesterday for the East Coast. This morning I'm taking Kandie,Bobbie,Claudia and Bruce out for breakfast then to the shop to load up Bruce's bike. Claudia will be leaving to RIDE her new bike all the way to Rhode Island! She has 4 days to go 1200 miles. Should be quite the adventure for her. Kandie and Bobbie(Claudia's new adopted Mom) are making her check in with them on her way home. All said it has been a great weekend! The weather has been fantastic for this time of year. Had lots of fun,made new friends and got to finally do some riding! Thank you to everyone that made this possible! PS, Kandie says Thanks Claudia for the coffee syrup! | ||

I just made it back to my place in Mass, 23.5hrs for 1177.8 miles, I'm wasted. I only took two short 'naps' on the way with plenty of gas/coffee/food breaks. I have no idea why it took so long but my baby is finally home, can't wait to rip it up through my favorite roads. Need some serious Zzz's before I do though. Kandie or Bobbie, can you keep us posted on Claudia's progress? It's a long haul  wish I had the time to join her. I forgot to ask what route she was taking. Thanks again everyone! Oh, and Dave, I did make one last stop before heading out of town... The CHEESE ISLE at Woodmans!  | ||

Last two from my journey, she didn't budge an inch all the way back surprisingly, odd tie-down locations but forks compressed just enough. We did manage to dent/scratch the exhaust can a tad picking that beast up, they didn't have a ramp at the rental joint, weak.   | ||

Well just got back to the apartment after having breakfast with Bruce,Claudia,Kandie and Bobbie. We walked in to Perkin's and there sat John and Shannon, friends of mine that bought a XB12R last year from me so I invited them to join us. After we ate we went to the shop to load Bruce's bike and bid him and Claudia goodbye. Claudia took off on her big roadtrip home at noon complete with her new cuddleduds Kandie bought for her. We got Bruce on his way shortly after that. I'll have more pictures tomorrow. Clinton, glad you made it home safe! How much cheese did you haul home? You did have a big truck! Bruce hit the cheese isle this morning before breakfast and stocked up on cheese curds to take back to Missouri. | ||

Claudia just called to check in. She is in Elkhart In for the night. She rode a little over 300 miles this afternoon. Everything is going fine for her. She'll be calling me again tomorrow night to update her progress. |
