No, I just saw someone leave, just as I left hals, test riding a blast. Think it was around 10:30-11 or something like that. |

At least they offer this stuff to you folks. Buell Canada didn't do the hat, and they aren't doing the bag. Even if I took a trip to Maine (I'm in New Brunswick), the fine print says I wouldn't get one.  |

I got the bag Wednesday at Earl Small's in Marietta. And for everyone's edification, they're really decent bags, but they will melt when your girlfriend hangs them off the throttle and the pipes are hot...Now she knows. |

I have yet to recieve a single promotional item, although I have made the 120 mile trek to the dealership for every danged one......well I did get a year old dragon shirt once..... |

HD/Buell of Ft. Myers (Naples is no longer a Buell Dealer) offered me the older bag when I requested mine. I asked for the newer bag and sales manager Randy (don't know his last name) said "I'll check in back for you." and I got my nice new bag. No demo necessary.
I never did get my knee pucks from a couple years ago...not that I need them in "the land of right angles and few curves" aka SW Florida. |

Went and did the test ride deal last Friday afternoon. Test rode a CityX. Bike ran a bit rough, started coughing and popping and backfiring a few miles up the road with no power. I tried to hold it at a steady 3000rpm's and that seemed to help some. It finally started to warm up and have a little power by the time we got back to the dealership. The thing needs a little steady freeway run to let it adjust itself. Hopefully my little ride got it better for the next test rider there.
I kept feeling like I wanted to push myself farther back on the seat, and didn't like the feeling of how short the frontend appears to be while riding the bike. Nice, but not for me. But I did get a new sling bag to replace my disintegrating one. July should be interesting. Plus the dealership may be getting a Sturgis model in so I might just "have" to go back for another test ride in a few weeks.
No problem getting the hat, and no problem getting the slingbag.
