yesterday started out as a nice day in the high 50's to almost 60. so with another buell rider i went down to the dealership to pick up my bike (had them install the race kit and do an oil change, few other things)we arrived just as the dealership was closing but they stuck around for a bit to chat with us. we loaded up the left-over parts and headed out. by now of course the sun was no longer out and the sky was full of clouds.. as 7pm got close we noticed a significant drop in temperature. i enjoyed the ride as much as i could, although it was freezing and i felt like i had snot running down my face. needless to say, i'm hyped to start my riding season.

you should get a couple hours of good ride time in today w/ the georgious weather... Heck here in Flint, it is about 60 if not warmer... so it has to be 55 up by you...

Ride a couple miles extra for me.... bike isn't finished being painted.....

i like the weather we're starting to get. but its hard to enjoy riding when i still see snow out there. we're supposed to get rain up here also, so no riding tonight. the good thing is that rain will wash the salt and crap off the roads. i'd love for a few good days of rain. then i'll ride with no worries of slipping on gravel/sand or getting my bike grimy
