He is trying to wean himself off of the pain killers so he can drive into work for a few hours here and there. He has to wait one or two more weeks so the skin can grow and heal on his ring finger before they go in for surgery. I have a hand specialist here that I can highly recommend for microsurgery and prostheses. I got to "meet" him after tearing up 2 fingers in a bizarre trailer unloading accident at Willow when the bike tipped over and I caught my hand in the steering damper and MASHED it when I grabbed the handlebars and the steering went to the stop instantly.   M1combat Posted on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 - 10:02 pm:        Owwww. I once slammed my fingers in the door of a 89 Thunderbird and like a dumb-••• PULLED them out of the door... I doubt it hurt as bad as the steering damper though.
