FYI: Forwarding from the HellBuellies mail list. Short notice (register by March 24th!), but it sounds cool. Riding your Buell onto the USS Lexington! >Hello Everyone!!! > > My name is BJ Perez and I had the pleasure of meeting some of you this past October for the Twisted Texas event. I am posting this to inform you all that my brother, Eric, and I are helping coordinate Buell activities for the up-coming Texas State Rally. Basic rally info is as follows: > >Location: Corpus Christi, TX >Date: May 12-14 2005 >Registration Deadline: March 24, 2005 >Info line: 866-700-HOGS >Web-site: www.txstatehogrally.com > >We have been approved for the following: > >1) Indoor hospitality booth >2) A Buell specific category for the bike show 3) Guided and un-guided tours through the region > >We are currently working to finalize the following: > >1) New bikes to be on display, and demo rides >2) BattleTrax for at least one day. The rally coordinators have approved the event, secured a location, we are just waiting for confirmation from Reg Kittrell of BattleTrax. This will be opened to the Harleys too, but I'm sure we can scare them off!!! > >If you are interested, you need to have the following: > >1) Current National HOG or BRAG membership >2) Pre-register BEFORE March 23, 2005 >3) Tell everyone you know and drag them along!!! > >There will also be a parade along the Bayfront, free boat tours of the bay, Chapter Challenge, 2 day poker run, and Sunday concludes with a group photo on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Lexington. > >If you have questions, comments, suggestions, etc, please contact me ASAP!!! Call me at 956-35V-TWIN or 1-800-303-3429 or e-mail me at catagory5cyclone@hotmail.com. We've done a lot of work and look forward to sharing the fun with you all. I sincerly hope you can help make this a huge Buell Turnout as the HOGS are doubting the turnout we can produce. Prove them wrong!!! > >Thanks for your time and when riding remember, "Avoid the straight and narrow!!!" > >BJ Perez |
