Hi I ordered a D&D and TFI from Daves, I don't have my service manual yet (it should arrive soon) and i was wondering how hard is it to do it yourself, anyone have a post link that i can reference? Very much appreciated, thanks.

Even with little experience doing that stuff yourself wouldn't be a problem if you're handy.

The trick with the muffler is to loosen (not remove) the axle, remove the belt tensioner, loosen the clamps on the muffler and take it off. No biggie.

The tfi requires some fiddling with wires, remove the right side airscoop and get a little light in there. Small and flexible hands will help you to get the connectors on the injectors. No biggie either.

I think you'll be fine. Can you wait for the manual? Life is so much easier with it.

Good luck!

I've had my muffler off a couple times, one including a switch to a Force header and pipe... Never removed the rear wheel or the tensioner. with a deep-well socket and a wobbly you can get to the straps just fine. Just take off the front pulley cover.
