Just a few more minor details... like a charging system and I can't find where you get those stickers that make it go faster. But this thing seems to want to be ridden NOW!

1999 X1

Other side

This one still needs a little more. Maybe some pedals off the old schwinn?

1997 S1

It's short some key components because this came out of the crankcase.

Ouch!

I'll be much easier on it than Wes was!

Looks real good, fun fun!

That first bike looks really good. I am ready for my first track day too. April 9-10 at Putnam Park road coarse. This will be the first time on the track with my new 12R. I can't wait either. I had a 9S last year. The track ruined me for riding on the street though. Good luck brupska

With the airtech tail you are probably going to want to get rearsets. Otherwise you are too upright.

Safety wire everything! Also make sure you have a catch can for the breather lines and also for the tranny vent line. I don't know how many times I've seen Buells puke oil out the tranny vent at the track and of course the first palce it goes is your rear tire. Have fun!! I'll probably see you at Blackhawk? (gotta fix a burnt piston first)

Shift linkage? I was just gonna rely on the powershifter. No, actually, I had to oder the linkage. I didn't have any stock parts available.

I was wondering if anyone would get the 1/2 bad number thing. That's what I had intended it to be.

That's not an Airtech tail section. Looks like one but it sets you back further. So rearsets aren't needed on that bike. The S1 (2nd bike) has the Airtech. I'll relocate the pegs and controls back to where the passenger peg brackets are on that bike. It's going to be used for a little bracket racing. Just need to get my crank back and put it all together.

Anyone else add nitrous using a fuel injected manifold? Looks like it'll work just fine along with the Holeshot PS2. We'll see soon!

Dyna, I'd love to do the Road America day, but I need to pick and choose the weekdays I take off real carefully $$$. As the summer progresses I'll do more during the week. But to start with I need to only go for weekend shots.
