Just sat down to watch the race, can't believe not one Buell in the field. 60 plus other riders though. hard to believe their are over 60 plus one off bikes built for daytona. sad HD or Buell can't pony up some money to get one bike in the field

Sad...I thought Barnes was riding a Buell, they even listed him as being on a Buell during qualifying--then I see today he's riding a Venezuelan Yamaha, and he lost a ton of time during his first pit stop.

You guys see Greg White talking about a "brake lever" adjustment nob and was pointing to and twisting on the clutch lever adjustment?

WTF?

Buell might as well have been racing. They were listed in the lineup and got airtime during the race. People remember what they hear. Take it where you can get it I say..

I was impressed with Barnes' showing. Lost all that time in the bad stop and dropped from 4th to 19th. Then he fought all the way back to 8th. Bravo!

That Knob does go across the handle bars and does just what he said it does. The adjustment is there so your throttle hand remains free.

If you looked closely...they were displaying at the bottom of the screen...Barne's was on a Suzuki...when clearly the bike was a Yamaha and his leathers said Yamaha across his chest...Speed Channel could learn a bit from the other networks when it comes to broadcasting racing events

GREAT RACE THOUGH!

March issue of "Cycle World" all but said Barnes would be riding a Buell in the 200. I wonder what happened?
But it is a real good article about the bike, regardless....

Despain also said Duhamel was riding a Yammi LOL! One of the other announcers tried to cover by saying, "Yea, it was a great factory effort by Honda." Or something to that effect. LOL!
