Go Barney, Go Barney...

I can't wait to see him campaign a Buell...

He will be on a Buell for the "rest" of the season yes?

This is for the Daytona 200, and Michael Barnes ran a Buell in FX for all the races they were part of last year.

Barney races for Innovative Research Buell, but is on a Yamaha since they are not attending Daytona. Does anyone know if he will be rejoining Buell for the rest of the season or is he going to stay with this Yamaha gig? He's a hell of a rider and for the life of me don't know why a Factory team doesn't pick him up. Pascal Picotte is in 9th on an under-powered Canadian spec 600. Those will be the 2 I will be rooting for (and the occasional 748 rider).

Yea, I was more than a little shocked when in passing the TV between classes that Barnes was listed as 5th on a Buell. The announcers even commented on it.

???

TV mistake??? I'll know at 2100 when speed re-airs it...staying tuned.

Yes, Barnes is in 5th in Formula Xtreme, and No, he is not riding a Buell.

Speed TV and Brian Drebber were wrong on the bike he was riding.
