I just bought a Banke brace used for my S1. Do you place anything between the brace and the frame to keep the paint from getting messed up or does it hurt the paint? It looks like a longer bolt is required for the front of the brace that goes through the front isolator mount, what size bolt do I need and is there anything special to removing the isolator bolt? Can you also mount the Storz steering damper along with the Banke brace? I think I've seen pics of both mounted together. Thanks in advance, Hodakaguy

Brace and damper can be mounted together.I have it that way on my S-2.If you mean the bolt at the front near oil filter, its a standard 3/8" bolt.Cannot remember if I needed a longer one.Yes it will eventually hurt paint.
