I am switiching over to a smaller S1 tank, the M2's have 2 rubber bumpers that support the tank/protect the frame.
On the M2 I think they are bigger then they would be on a S1 or 97/98 M2
Does anyone have any pictures to verify?
Thanks,
Spidey

I have fitted a '99 tank to my '97 M2 with no issues at all. HTH.

Got a pic of the rubber bumpers?
I don't have a problem fitting a smaller tank on there it just seems like it is either out of alighnment or a little too high up.
