Does anyone have an S2/S2Tspeedo cable they could measure for me? Not the internal cable but the housing itself. It's part number 67100-94Y, out of the original parts book. I think the one I have is too long. Also looking for mirror gaskets, the ones between the stock mirror and the fairing, I know I can make some and that's probably what I'll do, but I thought I would ask. The original owner installed aftermarket mirrors with different gaskets. Also later Tuber hard rubber footpegs in very good to new condition, I could use a pair.

I've been looking for some late tuber pegs myself - the big, ribbed factory rubber things are too much for my size 13s, I can NEVER get shifter/brake to fit with those monsters.

I think I have my old speedo cable from the wrecked '95 somewhere in the pile-o-parts, I'll dig and measure. You need thread-to-thread, right? There is quite a bit of slack in them, to compensate for suspension at full-droop...

No decent gaskets, sorry. They are just rubber sections, about 1/16" thick, if it were me I'd make them out of something that has adhesive on one side so they don't get lost. Big thing to have is the plastic spacer donuts that fit in the fairing holes, and around the bolts, to keep from smashing the bodywork...I have mine (on my "new" S2T) taped in place so I CAN'T lose them!

I would say thread on the bottom to the end of the cone at the speedo end.

This is my 5th S2/S2T so I am familiar with the gaskets. The adhesive bit is a great tip as they were always fiddly to install. I do have the plastic spacers, thankfully they were retained when the original owner installed the aftermarket signals.

Thanks for the reply, Joe!

How about next time, you make 'em so they don't $*#^ing fall OUT every time you have to take the mirrors off??

Joe, just checking to see if you found time to locate the speedo cable and get that measurement for me?

Been digging but no luck so far. Found the speedo, the gauge cluster, the triple trees, the forks, the wheels....no harness, no speedo drive. It's in the disaster pile somewhere...just have to dig it out.
