Anyone here running a M2L shock on their S2? If so, what all was needed as far as shock mounting bracket, muffler bracket, etc. to make the conversion?

When I had a 99S3T, it came with the 16.5" recalled shock, which began to leak. I bought a NOS recall shock and put it on the bike; I later bought a NOS M2L shock to run on it and loved the ride height as well as it taking a little weight off my arms/hands.

When I sold the S3T, I put the stock shock back on it and kept the M2L shock.

Now I want to put the M2L shock on my S2, but at 15", it is shorter than the original 1995 S2 shock, which would actually raise the bike.

Will the updated shock mounting bracket bolt directly to the S2; I assume it will, but want to make sure? Also, does that change anything else I need to be aware of? I don't want to buy a new bracket and then see that I can't install it or the shock because it changes something else that I wasn't aware of.

Thanks in advance for the advice.
