I seem to remember something not quite as the manual states to keep the oil IN the engine. Thanks.   Two_seasons Posted on Friday, July 01, 2022 - 03:30 pm:        Get engine hot. After engine is shut down, check oil level stick. Should be about 1/2 way up the stick. If checking cold, oil level should just be touching the bottom of the oil level stick. Check it a few times, to learn what IT thinks is the correct level, then just go with it. Too much, it'll puke it out or burn it; too little and you'll hear lifter tap.
