Two S,
Are you looking for the “carrier to hub” screws, or the “rotor to carrier” screws?

And be gentle with any of the screws on that rotor. I've had bad luck with internal hex rounding out on mine. It's the only screw on the bike I've seem to have trouble with, so I don't know if they're just soft or what. One of them I had to weld a bolt onto just to get it out.

An aftermarket rotor probably will not use that same bolt. Even the OE stuff switched over to this in the later years.

Low cost allens & Torx Tools are usually a little loose compared to Snap on or Mac. That doesnt help working old bolts.

Thanks guys for your responses.

Ordered the OEM Buell countersunk screws, 10 pcs, from St. Paul HD. They will work for the rear Galfer rotors.

However, front Galfer rotors require the button screws that 34nineteen linked to.
So I'll order 10pcs from Twin Motorcycles...trying to order those now...no love yet.

I really appreciate all the support I get from this forum. You guys rock

BTW, trying to get all three bikes road worthy. This will be the first time in several years that I can have my pick of the litter, so to speak. Want to get down to Two's in May!!!

Steve, I looked at your profile pic, you do know that's not a Buell, right? LOL.

Would love to some pics. Always love to see projects coming together.

BTW, love the 800's. Good luck!

So i found out my bank doesn't like out of country purchases. Hopefully that is fixed!

Kc:
Yeah, not a Buell, but cool too.

Regarding the S2T, picked that up from Will Jorg in Lees Summit. The X1 was from Mankato MN. Both one-way tickets and cold weather home (late OCT for the S2T and mid November for the X1). I'm having the bronze gear put in both. And new throttle/Idle cables in the S2T. Galfer rotors and much needed fork work to both.

New CPS sensor in the X1. Hopefully that will fix the 3K intermittent cutout this bike has had since i picked it up in 2010.(Lance from St. Paul HD said it will).

Have you had any trouble with your RED compression adjusters at the bottom of each fork leg? Port side is partially broken (slotted plastic adjuster). To bad the factory used plastic!

Glad you like your Galfers. Did you use the 1370 and 1371 pads?

i have family in San Antonio. That is one big ass city. i like their Mario Andretti cart track there. Three levels!
