Question for the "Old School" group:

Was this paint scheme ever offered by Buell? Seems aftermarket, but didn't know if it was a semi-unicorn from the factory.

Always on the lookout for something interesting - - here's the sales ad:

Thanks for any input,

That was not a paint scheme offered by Buell.
Scott Moon was a former Buell racer that worked at a Seattle dealership.

Sounds like the steal of the year!! But if He is a racer.....it is pretty well clapped out.....????

"ONLY"....26,000 miles on it? HARD miles?

But I am sure He kept it fine tune....

Stock exhaust and switchgear with the Banke Shifter assembly and the modestly modified Zero Gravity screen from the stocker... custom paint.
To me those speak of rideability refinements done by someone who wasn't going to wring the hell out of it, if they were it would have new exhaust and intake.
Educated guess weighing the evidence available from the photo - I think this bike was a daily driver, but more like a bit more of a comfort oriented distance bike for the occasional fun weekend or extended holiday jaunt.
