This is my first attempt at re-foaming and recovering the original seat pan to my x1 in leather. I added some medium density foam and also a gel pad (for my tired old arse) and shaped it into a Pegasus style seat. This is the prototype before I tackle my actual Pegasus seat that is in need of repair. I learnt a few things along the way- (next one no seams under the legs) but I think it turn out ok,

Nice job. I always wanted to do this myself. Have a Moto Guzzi that I'd love to reduce seat height about 1.5"

Bsanorton, thanks, I had the seat ready for the new leather for two maybe three years before I covered it. So there’s still time mate.
