So I've been working on my wife's friends 95' Sportster. Her carb was filthy. I had a good spare with missing parts, in my hast to reassembly all the good parts I found this piece. Where does it go? Doesn't look like a jet holder to me, thoughts?

Could it be a plug to cover a hole from a adjusting screw!?

No, that goes in the screw hole on the top (diaphragm) cover. It goes in the hole that is shared with the screw that holds the bracket.
