The round quarter sized rubber gasket with the 4 holes is leaking fuel from the petcock only when turned on. Has anyone found a replacement part that works. My search has found there is no Buell part other than a complete petcock replacement. The round gasket looks similar to other Japanese bike petcock gaskets but I fear they are just slightly different and will leak. I don’t want to go to a Pingle.

Assuming the S2 petcock is the same as my S1, Basti is right and they're the same as the regular Acerbis petcocks you can get on ebay for about $18. The only thing to keep in mind is that they make them for both the left and right side, and as far as what I remember, the sides are the opposite of what you actually need, so look at yours and look at the pictures carefully.

Aside from that, mine was doing the same thing when I got it. Remove the 2 screws by the switch(with no gas in the tank), you can remove the faceplate and clean up the gasket and put it back together. Mine worked perfectly fine after that.

Assuming the S2 petcock is the same as my S1

More than an assumption, it's a fact.

I used an acerbis petcock on my S2 numerous years ago and it appeared to me to be an exact replacement and still works fine

I ordered this new petcock from EBay seller ‘motorcycle works’ and it never arrived. EBay said it was damaged in transit and sent me a refund. I actually found a good used gasket in my pile-o-parts from a S1 petcock. I am back on the cold (slightly above freezing) temperature.
