As we all know, the Buell tubers are becoming harder to find. I am constantly checking the For Sale ads here, even though I'm not in the market currently for another Buell. I find it really frustrating when someone posts up an ad for a classic Buell with tons of beautiful, up-close pix and glowing descriptions...and then they don't post an asking price. Why? Is it because the OP forgot, or is waiting for someone to make an offer that is way high? I mean, come on...if it's been posted as "for sale", then you have to have some idea what it's worth, and what you need to close the deal. Don't say something is for sale unless you are going to at least post a starting point. That's just wrong, IMHO.

OR the people who are asking WAY TOO MUCH (2 on SF Craigslist, lol) just because they wrapped the header, put in LED/HID lights, or put “unique” stickers or parts on... Buell’s arent that “RARE”, especially anything made after 1996, and sure as hell arent when you modify them to YOUR taste... BONE STOCK ORIGINAL is RARE ...

People do that with plenty of things. I always browse the facebook marketplace for random things, and it's so common for nobody to post prices. They probably want to get offers so they can get the most possible, but I think it does the opposite. If you're not going to give me an idea on price, I'm going to lowball you. On the upside, I am picking up a priceless dewalt angle grinder for $10 this afternoon, so it's not all bad haha.

Hehe, they'll lowball you regardless. Though yeah, adding an asking price should be common sense.

Also, one should probably never try to sell a bike with lots of expensive upgrades. Just sell those parts separately and bring the bike back to stock as much as you can. People just won't pay extra for that stuff.
