If a bearing was spun in the rim is there a way to reuse the rim except as wall art?

You could try to bond it in with some epoxy or "sleevelocker" or use a shim to try to take up the difference.
However, the wheel is toast.

This may breathe a little life into it, but its on borrowed time... if it even works.

Not without a little machine work.

Let us know if you can find a machinist who can do the work. Ones I contacted did not have a machine large enough to get around the rim to get to the bearing surface.

Could try LOCTITE 638 Retaining Compound, which was designed for just this job.

I could do the work cuttin out the hub bigger and doin a press/ weld recut fit boss, but the cost and finding a lathe with enough swing will be the killer problems... think you could do better than wall art.. they could be used on a yard trailer/ wagon of bolted together for a mailbox mount or hose/cord reels even add old fan blades for a windmill type pump or hippie yard mobile lol

Do it on a cnc mill or a manual mill with a boring head. That's how I did the last rim I did. I'd offer to do it but I just bought a house and moved my shop so I'm not set up yet or have the time.

Try green Loctite 638, it is a retaining compound and can help if your tolerance is slightly loose, I used it years ago on a PM rear wheel, and has held up since, but I haven't put a ton of miles on it.

Apparently I didn't read the other post and see it was previously mentioned.
