I've mentioned that I was planning on manufacturing SS pistons for the PM caliper on the 95 to 97 S2's. It took a lot of research and planning. The retail cost would be around $150.00. That's for a complete set in 303 SS. Does anybody want a set? I tried to get the cost lower but with the tolerance required it comes in a little high.

What seals would these new pistons use?

Performance Machine still makes that diameter seal kit but it's for a 6 piston that has shorter pistons.

My email is barnbuell@gmail.com. it's 140 shipping included. Email me and I can send pictures. The pistons are done. A matched set is $140.00 shipping included. These are made to the same specs as performance machine. That has a 5/10,000 tolerance for the diameter. I'm still setting up my company and web site. The site is barnbuell.com. this company is dedicated to restoring the early Buells. Contact me here if you want a set.

I pulled my front caliper apart and need to replace the pistons. Are the stock pistons plated? It seems like chrome is flaking off the sealing surface.

Would these pistons work for a '97 S1 Lightning with a PM caliper?
