How long have you owned your Buell? Not how long have you had them, but the one you've had the longest. I'm the second owner of my '99X1, and I've now had it for 20 years!  | ||

My X1 is the first Buell I bought and I got it in 2013 (traded in a YZF750 that I had for a couple of years). If the shop where I got it from informed me correctly, there were 2 owners before me. Though I'm determined to be the owner that owns it the longest in the end :P So, 7 years now (plus a couple months), which coincidentally is also the longest I've ever owned one bike. Previous record was held by my Monster 1100, which I owned from new from '10 to '15. Ended up selling it because I spent all my time on the X1 after getting that. Here's the YZF750 that got traded in at the shop where I bought the X1 on that faithful day back in 2013:  Miss that one more than I do the 1100 actually. Great, great bike the YZF. Here's the X1 now:  Was out scraping pegs on it no more than 2 hours ago actually! (Message edited by falloutnl on May 14, 2020) | ||

Bought my x1 in 2001 after a series of test rides from 97-2000 at AMA vintage Days in Ohio. I have a little over 50K miles on it. Runs like a top. I've tracked it, complete 3 1000 mile days and even got to ride next to Erik on a trip to the AMA motorcycle museum, for the record the guy is nuts  | ||

I've had my '99 M2 for 17+ years now. Still runs and looks as good as the day I got it. | ||

I think it was riding the ridge in 2003. I was up late to lineup for the ride from the hotel to the Museum in Ohio. I ended up next to Erik , lets just say the front wheel didn't get a lot of use during the ride. The ride was very spirited. I think there around 100 or so bikes in the ride. I blame the design of the bike, still makes me an act like an idiot whenever I'm on it  | ||

After almost getting a S1 project I bought a low miles 04 XB12s in April 2007 from second owner. So 13 years now. Didn't ride much last 1.5 year because of other priorities in life , but it's staying till I'm to old for riding. Also have a couple other buell project in the shed that needs work.  | ||

Bought my 06 Uly brand new. Bought my S1W in...'05, I think? Still have them both. Also still have my '09 CR, bought during the fire sale. I still have (most of) my S2...bought it in '04 I think, loved riding it right up until I cut a deer in half with it back in '18. Still haven't decided what to do with it. Should probably part it out...but part of me keeps thinking "what if you get another S2? And you've gotten rid of all these spare parts?" | ||

And, I’ve got the S2 that I first rode that started this journey. It’s #34, my buddy Rickie bought it in June of ‘94. I got it a few years ago. Kind of like keeping it in the family! | ||

Owned my original black Sapphire S2 - 26 years in June, Didn’t realize how long I’ve had the others until inspired by this string... Amazon Green S3 - 13 years, Yellow S2 - 12 years, (2) XB12R - both 11 years, XB12X - 10 years, Everything else - less than 10  |
