I recently found an extremely clean, low millage, pre-charged shock for my X1. Much to my dismay, I forgot to ask the seller if it was the 14" or the 16" (see username). Before I post it back up for sale, I wanted to find out if I could simply buy a new front mount bracket, and use the 16". I am trying to save a few bucks, but I'm willing to sell this one, and buy a Twin shock if necessary. TIA

Yes.
The 14" bracket has an angle to it, as it sweeps back more.
The 16" bracket is nearly straight.
