I need new front caliper pistons for my 95 S2. I have the 6 piston caliper. Anyone know where to get some?

I checked with PM about two years ago and they don’t make the piston set anymore. If you had a good machinest and they could make you a new set out of stainless steel. They still made the seal kit.

Probably best to just get another complete used PM caliper from eBay - there's two out there right now, just wait for the right price to come around

Make sure you take a good look at it though, with parts that old you could buy another brake and it could be in the same condition as yours. When my PM brake wasn't cooperating I couldn't find an MC rebuild kit, I ended up finding one of the newer nissin setups for about $50, so I jumped on that. Minor upgrade in braking performance, with the added bonus of actually being able easily find rebuild kits when I need it, and combined with the newer rear brake I have sitting on a shelf, I'll eventually be able to switch over to regular DOT4 brake fluid for the whole bike.

I did eventually find a rebuild kit for the front MC, same as 90's GSXR1100, and got a rebuild kit for the PM caliper(seals only so hopefully the pistons are in ok shape), so I'll probably eventually rebuild it and put it back on with a new brake line so I can stick with the DOT4. I do think the old PM calipers looked better than the Nissin version.

I have a complete 6 piston early pm front brake from a 96 S1, I would sell to a badwebber for $125 shipped. It was in a lot of parts so I haven’t used it or tried to take it apart.

Mike was also selling a PM front brake setup, and it looks like it has a radial MC, so that would be a nice upgrade if it's all working well. He's a good dude so you can trust his word if he says it's in good shape(although you'd have to ask because the listing doesn't say what shape it's in).

Any time you can find a good machinist who likes to work with stainless, have them make enough pucks (caliper pistons) for two front calipers.

I've been very fortunate to have good machinists around me all my life.

I'm getting a machinist to make the pistons out of 303 SS (recommended no PM).i have an extra caliper so I'm planning on rebuilding both with the new pistons. If anyone is interest in one let me know.

I'm having a batch manufactured. It's not cheap but all the used ones are in similar rough shape. The calipers are great though. It's going to cost about 150.00 a set. That's in 303 stainless. Anybody interested?

My email is barnbuell@gmail.com. it's 140 shipping included. Email me and I can send pictures. The pistons are done. A matched set is $140.00 shipping included. These are made to the same specs as performance machine. That has a 5/10,000 tolerance for the diameter. I'm still setting up my company and web site. The site is barnbuell.com. this company is dedicated to restoring the early Buells. Contact me here if you want a set.
