Well, it's time for me to eat some crow. I straightned out my S2 and it runs like a scalded dog. As I mentioned before, the previous owner had done a lot of work on the bike. The exhaust he used was one off of a S1W and called it good. As some of you know I have often complained about how sluggish and underpowered my bike is. Well while some friends and I were playing around, I tooke the muffler off(the neighbors love me)and took it around the block. Oh my god! It was a completely different bike. So I put a Vance & Hines s22r muffler on it. Now, after about 2500 rpm it pulls hard ... real hard, all the way to about 6500. Sorry guys for causing so much grief and not believing in Buelldom.

Welcome to the fold.

Wait until a bud tries your S2. The Buell specific reaction seems to be... "I was going down that twisty section, I figured, it's ok, not bad, doing 60, then I looked down at the speedo & I was doing 90mph! Damn! that bikes deceptive/easy to ride fast/confidence building....."

Don't worry aobut it too much, I think we have all had our beafs with our bikes. Its what makes riding motorcycles exciting, there is always something new to learn and try.

Gorgeous bike, Chewy.

I'd have loved to have found a "purple" one, but figured they were few and far between! I had to drive 4 hours to get a black S3T. Like you, I've had to sort a few things out but it's getting there.
