My 99 Thunderbolt wouldn’t idle by itself even with the screw all the wAy turned so I tried to hook up ecmspy to the bike and now it won’t fire up .
Nothing popped up on the laptop - like it wasn’t even communicating, but something happened for the worse .Anybody know someone good with Buells in Vegas??

Is this ECM Spy on your laptop? Battery on bike good? Key on, kill switch in run position? In upper left on ECM-Spy program on laptop is a key logo, it needs to be clicked to go "live". Also, under options click communications and see what com port you are using, needs to be a low number like 2 or 3 to connect.
Also, we need WAY more info on your bike, mileage, mods, sitting a long time, etc etc.

Thanks for the info- got the computer communicating and set the TPS to 5,3 but still won’t start .
Bike has 43k miles and it has a race ECU and a newer D&D exhaust. Bike ran great with the old Vance & Hines until it fell apart .

The exhaust ain't gonna have any effect on your problem.sounds like a sensor went out? If you still have the V H bits even if unusable trash I would still want the muffler and bits you didn;t use with the D&D. Shippin to 30655, if you want to work somethin out,PM me or direct hawgford@windstream.net.If you decided the D&D is too loud,my V H system is in nice shape and header pipe recent polished and coated...

Any codes? And what procedure did you use to reset TPS? Change the plugs!
